I opened and let sit for two hours then poured through a vintorio. Dark fruit on the nose. The palate is dark berries, grilled meat, tree bark and some spice leading a a moderately long finish. Drinking nicely at 15 years of age.

Decanted and returned to bottle. Dense dark garnet. Notes of ashy-mineral, savory earth, blue violet, cassis & currant are highlighted throughout. On the palate this has opened nicely, showing a juiciness to the fruit to balance against powerful concentration. Weighty and polished with creamy tannins and long finishing notes of dark fruit and espresso. Very nice. Drink or hold.

Wow! Yum! Very floral nose, right in your face with the first sips, very bright. But then it fades nicely. Great. Thanks matt!
