Dinner at Marcel's, DC. 7 years on from my last bottle and I can say that the wine has evolved but only some. Where the wine differs from my previous tasting is it has more depth and structure albeit the same flavor profile. It remains crisp and bright and the microscopic thin centered bubble stream endured throughout the evening. We drank before the meal and with the first 2 courses, then moved to the Cheval Blanc, and than finished with the champagne with dessert and it remained as bright and crisp as when first opened. Excellent and very pleased we have 3 left in our cellar. Drink now or hold.

Greenish-gold with medium sized bubbles. Yeasty bread dough on the nose. Notes of green apples, yeast rolls, Meyer lemons, lime zest, with solid minerality and great energy.

So vibrant! On the nose lemon curd, white peach, honey with toasted brioche, almond and toffee. A refreshing acidity is the perfect compliment to the inviting creaminess of this wine. This wine is just starting to hit its stride and more time in the bottle will certainly draw out more nuttiness and complexity. Awesome juice!

PnP well chilled. Med/large strong bubble stream. As a Champagne lover, this is as good an anything I've ever drank. Unbelievably fruity with no hint of being over aged. Light on the lee's, oak, I would have never guessed this was 16 years old. Med body with excellent and intense fruit, in prime drinking window. My highest rating is 95 and this meets that. Nothing off, D/J bottle.

Fresh, crisp, lively. A faint yeast taste, but very tasty and flavorful!
