  • From a good looking bottle with a 3cm fill, this wine had a light gold/green center and clear rims. The medium- intensity nose displayed green apple, white stone, and honeyed limes.

As usual, this wine took several hours to show its best. This is particularly true with the subtle 1985 vintage. This wine had a lovely rich texture, tons of glycerine, and a sneaky crisp finish.

While not spectacular, this was a very interesting and enjoyable wine. I see no reason to cellar this wine further.
