11th of 12, opened 20 minutes, perfect cork and level, previous bottles regularly VF/95 (last in 2014), now beginning to fade, broaden and oxidise (with age), drink up! Just about VG today (16).

Yolanda's Birth Month Wines (Chagrin Falls): Good, not great. Showing some age. A solid vintage if not great IMO, I had hoped for a bit better showing. Not oxidized, just not showing the development one hopes for in 16 year old white Burgundy. The nose still has some red apple on it with a slight chalky streak. On the palate, it is not as precise and just has some fruit and a bit of depth. A nice enough wine, I wonder what it was like in its youth.

200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Wow, extremely precise wine here, wheat, bready elements, vanilla, lemon. The surprise winner of this flight.
