With david in Riedel glasses - possibly the most successful NZ red I've tasted. Goes far beyond teh ordinary cherry aromas of PN. Classy ripe fruit with smokey gamey aromas adding complexity. Excellent acidity and very nice presence in the mouth - drunk at its peak - mature. (Oak not noticeable - well intergrated)

Magnum Society (Wellington): light ruby fading to pink - some age showing - cherry fruit - silky texture - light to medium body - good acidity - fruit seems less opulent then when tasted in March - fair length - won't last much longer. Bouquest became more powerful than the Mountadam PN 87 with exposure to air.

With red pepper pasta sauce = a good bottle - cherry fruit, smokey oak and some animal leather qualities.
