Screwcap bottle. Medium yellow color, showing maturity, but not too developed. Spectacular nose and palate. Bursting with apricots, cream, peaches and baked apples. But the acidity... wow! Still fresh and full of energy. Really persistent finish as well. Purchased in 2004 for $20... what a deal.

NobleRottersSydney - Christmas Lunch 2019 (Geoffrey's place): [Graeme] {AP 11 03, screwcap, 9%} The inaugural vintage under screwcap, and it looks like something from an 80s soft-drink bottle, not the slick stelvins we see these days. Deep yellow colour. This has an aged nose of tropical fruit, pineapple, fruit salad, custard. The palate is an aged medium-dry affair, with medium acid, only light/medium weight, extra aged lime and apple flavours all in filigree style. Great balance along the tongue, medium/long finish. Really terrific wine. I bought this in 2003 - this is my first taste. That's patience!

In wonderful shape. Early maturity but still with great youthful lines. Creamy apricots and apples.

White fruit (apple, peach, citrus), strong but well balanced sugar, strong acidity. Floral. Lingering finish.

Steely honeysuckle with peach and minerals and a bright finish. Silky and complex.
