OC Breakfast And Pinot Offline (The Murray's): Bag #17--Nose veers toward barnyard, with some snappy fruit and herb. Didn't care for this too much and it didn't get much air time so maybe that had some impact, to be fair.

This wine has a nose of toasty spice, a slight amount of wood, deep red fruits, and a "pretty" earthiness. Yet all these aromas join together, giving the wine a really beautiful nose; restrained, yet full and beautiful. Light-bodied and with a light touch of spice on the palate, it has a great finish. A balanced acidity makes it a very food-friendly wine. It went really well with Oven-Roasted Spareribs with Peach Glaze.

Let this get a little too long in the tooth. But still repectiable.

Light on the fruit but a nice pinot. It was a little tannic that might mellow over time but i don't think it is going to get much better.
