Drank last night in part to the reviews on CT. Been properly stored in my cellar since release and is aging very nicely - think this could go for another couple years. Decanted for an hour and enjoyed with lamb chops. Deep purple color, integrated tannins with a bit of a dusty (in a good way) mouth feel. medium acid and really nice complexity of red and dark fruits, some minor secondary flavors evident as well (pine, clay/ brick, forest floor). Really nice effort and a bit pricey but I think this one was worth it. Could you get a better "deal", sure but if you are holding this wine then hey it's a very enjoyable drink
I enjoyed this bottle. The last review scared me so I double decanted and let it sit an hour before serving. It was definitely time to drink but not over-the-hill. Ripe fruit on the nose with a soft balanced finish. I've got two bottles of the '07 which I'm betting can sit another year.
