  • Straight from their cellar. Initially blackberry and black currant, some oak, and something floral on the nose. The tannins were fine, acidity was nicely balanced. The wine was a touch too cool, at first. Over the next two hours it paired amazingly with jamon iberico and roast pork. Towards the end, fruit dissipated, giving way to funk and earth. The tannins roared back to life. The finish didn't evolve much, but it was lasting. Excellent qpr.
