  Sous bois, dried cherry, earth, graphite and caramel. Palate is sweet with moderate plus weight and power. It is still fresh and vibrant. At peak.

  Hedonistic perfectly mature Burgundy nose displaying decadent slightly dry red fruit, raspberry jelly, dry cherry, caramel, porcini, leather and strong sous bois. The 83 rot is not noticeable. Excellent concentration which I typically find in the top 83s, beautifully layered sweet red fruit, silky and polished, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, and a lovely long sweet red fruit driven finish with sous bois and leather at the end. This came from an excellent cellar with high humidity, i.e. the label was disintegrated. Exceptional showing.
