  • I've had this wine a few times now and loved it every time. Still very much alive. Totally red and citrus fruited. The nose is of cherry, orange peel, toasted mustard and fennel seeds, terragon, leather, and a touch of shoe polish. The palate is high acid and low tannin featuring bright sweet red fruit and a long spicy finish. Tasted blind I guessed traditionally styled '98 CdP or Gigondas. Clearly showing well for it's age.

  • Transparent brick colour. Very developed aromas with some alcohol notes. Has lost most of its fruit, but nothing wrong with the wine. Light, tender and elegant on the palate.
