Thought this was a very tasty Alsacian blend and for the price point a good deal. A little on the sweet side as you would expect, but very smooth and an easy drinker.

Alsace with Emphasis on Gustave Lorentz (The Wine Club, San Francisco): High toned fragrance, very perfumed-I'd guess a significant amount of Muscat is in the blend. Medium bodied, off dry. Grapefruit quality makes me think of Scheurebe. OK feel but the finish really disappears fast.

Bought at a very reduced price and was not sure what to expect. Quite good as an aperitif and also with salad. Not at all past its drinking window.

Not the minerally, incredible Alsacian wine we hoped for, but nice nonetheless. Good on its own and with food.
