I bought this bottle as a student and I opened it now and unforunately the storing conditions were not the ideal ones. Straw yellow colour. The nose is dominated by yellow fruits (citrus initially and while time passes sweeter fruit aromas emerge), minerality and subtle oak (it offers a lovely nutty touch). Medium-bodied, evidently salty, refreshing acidity and well integrated oak which gives a long complex, but focused finish. I feel very lucky because I have one more bottle in my cellar. I will wait at least 2 more years before I open it! Till then...Cheers!!

Wow. Ripe yellow fruits, citrus, stone fruits on the nose, oak is restrained, it's fresh and even elegant. Smooth and round on the palate, seamless, balanced, with integrated acidity and a hint of sweetness. Quite pure and classy, drinking nicely. Young, but I can't see any reason to hold.

Bought after seen th WS video on Assirtiko in Santorin island. Nose completely closed. Mouth fresh and balanced, mineral but rounded by a gentle wood. Not as acidic as the video explanations, but nice and interesting. Buy the one unwooded, (same WS rate :88) it should be more explicit.

Wow, this is top quality stuff!! Smoky and flinty minerality on the nose together with surprisingly high level of fruit (citrus, pineapple) for an Assyrtiko from Santorini. Complex and intense. Palate is full bodied with a perfect balance of ripe and crisp fruit. So refreshing with acidity giving a backbone while mouthfeel is mouthcoating and supple. Mineral notes complement fruit. Finish is lingering.

enjoyed this wine quite a bit. Subdued tropical fruit with great minerality that is balanced by wonderful acidity. This drinks great right now.
