  • Very nice, great to see that this bottling has some legs - medium gold, nicely aged aromas, vinous, complex - hazelnuts, some light citrus, even a bit earthy - but also a bit of alc - really lovely palate has a sweet creamy entry and mouthfeel, again vinous, complete, well balanced except for a bit of alc poking thru, some heat on the finish - would be hard pressed to ID this a s a ringer in a Burgundy tasting - overall very suave and well wrought.

  • Medium golden colour. Medium intensity of aromas, palate with mineral depth, appley flavours, sweet honey, mushroomy notes, old wood and vanilla touches. Has intensity and good balance between ripe flavours and acidity, alcohol is pronounced.

  • Tasted during my first semi-professional wine presentation entitled "World Chardonnay", Le Petit Sommelier restaurant, Athens, Greece.
Dark gold. Sweet pergamont, undergrowth and almond paste. Nice combination of fruit and tertiary aromas. Full-bodied, dense, with obvious alcohol, rich fruit and balancing acidity. The finish is long but excessively warm.

  • Really interesting. This was my first Oregon Chardonnay, and I was struck by the unique flavor profile. Smells really ripe, with pears and lemons. Flavor profile of buttered pears. It does not seem as deep and rich as other Chardonnays, including Burgundies, but it is really nice in it's own unique way. I'm not sure what the best food pairing would be, but I am definitely interested in finding out more about these wines.

  • The best Oregon chardonnay I have tasted, at least since the last time I had some Drouhin Arthur. It lingered, it filled the senses.
