  • Burgundies with Friends: Pretty nose of roses, herbs, pepper, tart cranberry sauce. Crisp and floral on the palate with roses, spice, leather, bay leaf, on top of juicy cranberry and red cherry fruit. Showing well now, but I'd like to see what this does in 3-6 years.

Note révisée à 90.

Note révisé à 91 !

  • Even if served blind, It’d be hard to misidentify this as something other than Burgundy. Backed by earthy and vegetal funk, cranberry component takes the center stage. Lemony acidity seems to suggests that it'd pair well with seafood.

  • Tasted non-blind with winemaker. Some red fruits and earth on the nose. The taste starts with a hint of sourness, more red fruit and a smooth transition to the finish. Not terribly complex and quite tannic but not overly so given the vintage. Medium long finish. Enjoyable wine overall but way to early to fully assess. Hold for another 3 years at least. No score given.
