We felt we were visiting wine being served in the Twilight Zone. This comes from a mutated Pinot Noir grape, and is obviously very well made. However, imagine something like glue and rum aromas against a creamy citrus background--we thought of lemon curd. Then, a palate dominated by tropical fruit in day glow colors akin to iced pop tarts--in short, weirdly artificial flavors against a background of the classic French dessert, Baba au Rhum. Bizarre!
