Light ruby, with some brown hues. Shy nose, needs aeration for at least one hour. After aeration reveals scents of ripe cherries, oak and rose petals. Medium bodied with high acidity and firm tannins. Flavors of cherries, earth, spices and nuts. A bit bitter aftertaste. Good Brunello with a rustic character. Needs 2 or 3 years to improve.

Tasted at LCBO. Orange bricking. Good nose of oak and cherry. Rustic. Lighter bodied than expected, firm acid and tannin. Needs time (and food)
