Kept mostly under condition 2 (see my profile) since 2013. The last and best bottle of six of this wine, because its tannins were still more resolved. But at the second day already a bit tired. 88-89.

Fifth bottle of this wine. Taste: quite juicy red and dark fruit. Despite the hot year mineral, fresh and with good acidity. Despite some mature notes this wine can get better with some more years of keeping. It seems that Medoc 2009 needs a rather long time of keeping, more or less like 2005 be it a bit shorter. Already 88(-89), potentially 88+.

Great Medoc, typical Bordeaux aromas, menthol, earthy, forest floor, starting to see some brick edges on the rim of the glass, this will not get better, after a few minutes in the glass, the aromas changes to dried black fruits, medium length. Will most likely stay at this stage for 2 to 4 years before it declines. Great wine for the price.

Deep red color wine with nice complex notes of dust and dark cherry with a dry faint tannic finish. Real complex but also real smooth.
