Deep purple. Wow.we are really in the farmyard!! I love this smelly nose, typical mouvedre and possibly my favourite nose of the night!! Black fruits and spice on palate, which perhaps is not so impressive as nose.Nice wine though which will no doubt age well. Very Good.

Blind tasted with short ribs at a dinner party, layers of dark fruit, cassis and mocha. Fat, rich typical Laurent style. Ripe tannins with a slight peppery finish.

This is the third bottle we've tasted, one was flawed, but the other two were rich, fat mourvedre. Typical Laurent style, lots of oak with layers of fruit, best when decanted. Almost California style with seemingly elevated alcohol and fruit ripeness.

Wonderful aged Rhone blend. Soft spiciness on the palate and great mouthfeel. Marvellous with food.
