Picked this up a trade a few years ago from Walt who isn't a fan of the version. Drunk at the age of eight. Light burgundy color and fading around the edges. While the tannins are extremely soft I wouldn't be worries to age this some more if you like that style. Ripe red plum fruit, pushing the ripeness envelope for me yet still enjoyable. Touch of heat on the nose which blew off after decanting for an hour, warm in the mouth though.

Excellent red blend from Paso Robles. Dark red cherry, plum, tobacco and a bit of spice. Nice acidity, a bit of earthiness and a long finish. Had this 2008 along side the 2010 and 2009 and this was my favorite.

Dark cherry, abundant anise on nose and palate. Went well with grilled ribeye.

Nice Paso blend. A little smokey, some earthiness. Went well with pulled pork. Drinking well at the moment.
