I think this has officially started on the downslope. Fruit still big and bold but wine seems like its losing some of its backbone. Still enjoyable but i would pop the cork on this immediately

Popped and poured. The cork oddly split about 2/3s down while I was pulling it. The bottle had a fair amount of gunk and sediment in it, so I’d recommend decanting (particularly if you bust the cork as I did). This is a solid red-purple wine with significant mouth-staining properties. On the nose, I get currants with assorted blue and black fruits. In the mouth, this is a rich and concentrated wine, building to a finish marked by mint, chocolate, and fresh tobacco aspects. Overall, this is an unabashed Napa cab. It was good today but should have many years left. 92 points.

Inky ruby color, no separation. Nose showing black cherry, licorice , oak and floral/violet notes. Concentrated palate, dark berry, boysenberry/blue fruits. Smoky licorice, tar through the mid palate. Nicely integrated, tannins smoothed at this point. Full body and long finish.
Outstanding showing on this evening. The wine continued to improve over the course of the evening, developing additional mid palate complexity. It was much tighter when first opened, decant makes a difference if the venue allows. The Farella wines from Realm are consistently great (IMO), argument to be made they are the best in their portfolio...:) Aging gracefully, well stored bottles have at least another 5 years at this level.

Another Realm masterpiece. This Cab gets better each hour its opened with its expressive dark, blackberry fruit, notes of dark chocolate, cassis and velvety tannins. Hints of smoke and licorice on the finish. Wish i had more of this. Drinking perfectly right now.
