  • A forgotten bottle: Golden colour, smells of petrol and thinner, light body, dry, but not in a harsh way, in the mouth thinner, a little bit of apricot and petrol, no acidity left, short finish, in the aftertaste apricot, a little bit of acidity and a little bit of thinner, it’s way too old, after the bottle is open for 30 minutes it only tastes sour.

  • Grapey to pear-like fruit aromas on the ever-so-slightly reductive nose with some lemon sherbet, bisquity richness, stone dust and white pepper.
Dry, full bodied and grainy with balanced acidity. A tart citric bite, but not as pronounced as on the Rüdesheim 08. Less ripe as well. Steely finish showing lemony freshness and grainy minerality.
Popped and poured with Rüdesheim 08. I prefer this - at least today. More playful and approachable.

  • Nice fresh grape and lime aromas, balaced, long. Great with spicy chicken tikka masala.
