  • According to the label this blend is 70% Malbec, 11% Syrah, 10% Bonarda, 9% Merlot. Very deep purple, almost black as other reviewers have said. Decanted about 1.5 hours. Nice nose of blackberries, raspberry preserves, and licorice. Rich black fruits, raspberries again on the palate, tart sweetness, a licorice/oak finish. Very smooth tannins. Dont know why mediocre reviews, maybe others drank too young. Im a huge fan of malbec/bonarda blends and this is one of the best Ive had. This is a great steak wine, had this with grass fed steak and was perfect.

  • Heavy palate. Strong black fruits smell and taste. Strong tanins. As i am not tôo familiar with bonarda varietals i would rather try others before recommending this one.

  • A very dark wine. It is almost black in the glass. The nose is filled with sweets, there is not much fruit. The taste is full of dark berries, blueberries and blackcurrants. Moreover, the taste has strong notes of sweets and a bit of fruit. Not a wine I would buy again.
