(Tasting@d'Arenberg) rich oily style, with hint asparagus, oak and beeswax. beautiful stone fruits (nectarnes) and textural, with a chewy cherry aftertaste. Rather enjoyable with some age showing already - would love to see how this develops!

Monday Night steamboat session (JPot Vivo city): Bright golden yellow, floral nose with ginger spice, some nuttiness and hints of oak. Slightly oily mouth-feel, good medium weight on palate with apple, apricot, candid ginger, green apple and hints of vanilla. Medium+ finish. A well made Viognier with very good QPR.

Drank this wine at New Ubin Seafood to celebrate my friend's birthday.
Lots of cream, caramel and apricot in the palate. Medium body and held the crabs (chilli, white pepper and garlic) well.
A delightful wine. I find Viogniers a good (and affordable) alternative to Chardonnays and Sauvignon Blancs.

Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show (Mildura Showgrounds): My favourite wine of one of the best classes of the show. Rich, spicy and concentrated, yet soft. Long finish.

Oakey. Hints of citrus. Tastes good with Asian style foods
