  • Rather shy on the nose at first. Floral, exotic fruit notes, honey. On the palate rich and round, decent acidity, wonderfully balanced, good weight, long. 92-93+

  • #19-10, 7.5% abv. Pale straw colour, with a slightly viscous appearance. Upon opening, there's a good amount of sulphur on the nose as to be expected, and a bouquet of ripe white peaches, almond blossom, and honey. This is certainly on the sweeter side and very, very rich, but not too ripe or over the top or anything silly like that. The finish tapers off a bit too quickly, leaving you only with a faint hint of honey in your mouth. I find the acidity a bit lacking as well, but not to the point that its absence is detrimental to the wine.

  • Far too young. Very sulphuric now, this disappeared only after over an half hour in the glass. Leave this wonderful wine for at least 10 years, but I guess it will be better even to wait 20 years. Then it will be very great I guess.

  • Day 1: Light straw color, could have been mistaken for a PG or SB. Enchanting nose of honey, melon, baked green and yellow apples with cinnamon, pear compote, maybe a scallion or two. This changed a lot from sip to sip on the palate. Striking acidity, though some sips were less so. A bit of effervescence, more green apple, pear, and honey. Medium dense. Long finish, sweet with residual acidity.

Day2: More of the same, still holding very very strong. Some of the green notes are gone, and the acidity is softer and more even keeled, although occasionally zingy. Effervescence is still there as well. This will last for a long time, but wonder how much it will improve. Not the best value, but at least a fair value insofar as it is distinct and memorable.
