Wine Tasted at Acker Auction (Ci Siamo - New York NY): Corked
Do you find this review helpful? Yes - No / Comment
Big, bold, sesame undercut by bright acidity and driven minerality. Classic PYCM flinty reduction. Slightly thin by its appellation. 92
Oxidized. Possibly with a bit of TCA too. Not just overly ripe, not right.
David Wainwright's Big Birthday Celebration with Friends & Wine (1243 Bourgogne Society - Beaune): Started slightly reductive, but that's typically for Colin-Morey, but also brightly fresh given its fleshy stone fruit aromas and flavors. Very good density. Rich throughout with a slightly sweet finish.
Acker 2018/12 (Vaucluse): Fresh florals, yellow fruit, stone. Réductive but very good palate. 93
