(Pierre-Marie Chermette Brouilly Pierreux) Very dark ruby color; nice, tart cherry, black raspberry nose; juicy, poised, tart black cherry, tart black raspberry palate; medium-plus finish (this wine seems to vary a lot by bottle--some have been more bretty--due to the low sulfur levels; glad I got a good one this time)

(Pierre-Marie Chermette Brouilly Pierreux) Purple red violet color; deep, tart berry, candied red fruit, ripe berry nose; silky textured, ripe berry, cinnamon, candied red fruit palate; needs 1-2 years, should go 7-8; medium-plus finish 88+ points (most old fashioned in style of our lineup; from a 1.5 hectare plot of 40-year-old vines; semi carbonic maceration; minimal added sulfur dioxide; aged mostly in foudre)
