  Tellement riche, tellement confit, oh c'etait difficile! Avec l'âge et la spécificité du millésime, le vin a évolué et j'avais du mal à percevoir la trame minérale. Rondeur, luxuriance, complexité en premiere impression; le fruité et le floral, l'épicé et l'exotisme (ananas) le caractérisent, avec une pointe confite (pamplemousse), fleurs blanches, ambre. Après qq gorgées, il lui manquait tout de même du peps et de l'énergie. Un vin à l'ancienne, ambitieux, riche, un peu mou aussi... (sans doute 2/3 ans de trop mais certains ont beaucoup aimé).
  A l'opposé du style Dagueneau...
  Ah, ces millésimes chauds!

  Not your typical Sauvignon Blanc, although there is an undeniable fruity touch. After all these years, the tension and fruitness has evolved into a more subtle and rich wine, with some dry fruits and nutty flavours.
  Probably less suited to apéritif, definitely a wine for the table.

  Now this is a completely different animal. Ripe, rich nose of pineapple and citrus. Wonderful amplitude, wood is not obvious, long finish. The acidity appears at the end and is adequate to rein in this big boy. Real sense of sucrosity without sweetness. Terrific but I would not bank on aging it forever.
