Château d'Arlay tasting (Stockholm): Medium yellow colour with some gold. Nose with ripe yellow apples, some winter apples, mineral note with a strong chalky character, powerful notes of hazelnuts and typical sherry-like "voile" notes from the yeast cover. Dry, powerful and slightly oily palate, chalky mineral, pronounced spice, high acidity, long aftertaste with mineral. Full-bodied style, but a fresh profile. 90 p.

Plutôt rustique. Pas trop de finesse. Finale plus oxydée qu'oxydative.

@Château D'Arlay tasting.
Sherry like, burnt, armagnac on the nose. Some heat, liquorice that goes on for quite some time. Very special.
