My guess is there must be some serious effort took place to the wine, in the pristine balance at the moment, light golden colour, nose is simply superb, white acacia flowers, sweet minerals, and a touch of honey and much more subtle fragrance! On the palate, sweet but not too sweet, tons of sweet mineral fruits! Light to medium body, never felt heavy, easygoing, soothing on the palate, a mini Rieussec without doubt! Put a smile on my face! Drink now or within the next few years, at its very peak!

I had just returned from a week in Sauternes and I decided to pull this to try with my chicken/crème fraiche dish that I have prepared countless times. Normally, I serve a Chardonnay with the meal and Sauternes with the dessert, but here, the tides had clearly shifted.
Nutty and sweet, with countless flavors, this is memorable. In a good way. A very, very good way. thedrunkencyclist.com

Left Bank Bordeaux Group Tasting (Chez Matt et Reema): Group-member said this is made from Rieussec's younger vines. A good way to try the vintage/rieussec without having to wait a long time for the grand vin. A good bit of botrytis with lots of honeyed apricot, dried fruit, candied orange peel. A bit too much RS which made the wine feel cloying and noticable VA were the only flaws but all in all a good sauternes.

Medium gold - a lot of botrytis on the nose, baked apple and honey, but with some more complex nuances backing it up, hard to pinpoint - sweet entry, soft and lacking acidity, but not flabby either, it builds on the mid-palate and finishes well with very good length - sorta sneaky good - but very sweet - on palate, the honey and botrytis notes echo, with a smoky overlay and ripe apricot and dried mango fruit - nice wine if paired effectively - say, high acid cheeses - even though it is a second label, and has its deficiencies, I'd say the pedigree still shows through.
