From an unheralded vintage, this is juicy, well balanced and has enough interest and complexity through the blend to make this a very enjoyable wine. Dark cherries and plums with a little charcoal and some background oak. Savoury with a sweet edge, I could see this being quite a crowd pleaser. Not sure it will age brilliantly so I think this is best drunk in its youth. My only bottle but was very enjoyable and paired well with spaghetti in tomato and red wine sauce.

GT Wine Magazine Top Tasting Grenache (Sydney): Purple, medium intensity Concentrated jammy fruit, vanilla and cream over slight sweet spice and a touch of black pepper Jammy red fruit bomb followed by very slight bitterness and astringency, medium plus tannin, medium acid and medium length with a hot medium plus alcohol that carries through

A little oaky, some eucalyptus on the nose. Dark fruit, sweet liquorice, tannic with good acidity.
