Yesterday, I saw Jared Goff's performance and thought, "boy, I'm glad I benched him in favor of Dak Prescott".

Your team still sucks. I'm amazed that you string together enough 2nd rate players each week to score a lot of points, but make no mistake, regression to.the mean is coming for ya!

And furthermore just look at your line up! This past weekend you started:

Alex Smith
Mark Ingraham
Stephon Diggs
Jimmy Graham
Keenan Allen
Alshon Jeffrey
Kicker Harrison Butker
Defense Chargers

And you scored 148 points. And you lead our league in points for. What??!!!

You only have one, maybe two, players worth taking in the first three, maybe four, rounds if the draft was rerun TODAY.

Here's who I started:

Carson Wentz
Todd Gurley
LeVeon Bell
Michael Thomas
Brandin Cooks
Michael Crabtree
Kicher Chris Boswell
Defense Rams

See the difference? My team is AWESOME!!!! And either you are a Fantasy Football Svengali of historic proportion, or you are a blind, deaf and dumb pig falling face first into a Champs Elysees truffle shop week in and week out. I'm guessing the latter!

And in that spirit, it very much seems to me that, with your scoreboard pointing smack talk, you are begging to be thrashed in a side bet about which of our teams score the most points for the rest of the regular season. I, sir, demand satisfaction. What shall be the stakes of this duel?

Blind squirrels find nuts once in a while. Maybe blind pigs just get lucky week after week after week? At some point, you have to change the word "luck" to "skill" or "proficiency".

I know. And I don't want to. And this is why I'm pretending to be angry at Skifree's ridiculous annoying team.

And you are also correct the Caddyshack references just keep rolling. This, like bullfights on acid, is all VERY serious business ;)

OK, so I see your top two guys are not on IR like my top two guys - Aaron Rodgers and David Johnson. Given that I have received copious amounts of dumb luck the last two weeks, how many points are you spotting me for our bet over the next 3 weeks? I'll put in a bottle of 2009 Ch. Gloria for my part, seems appropriate for the season ("Gloria in excelsis Deo").

Have you ever thought of taking the Diane Chambers approach to football?

Simple is better. Don't overthink it.

Spotting you?! But I thought your squad was amaze-balls! Right now you are up 10 points on me in total points with three games left in the regular season. We could make it easy/math free and just say that the team with the most total points at the end of week 14 wins. That basically gives you a free field goal every week.

I'll put up a 2008 Marcarini Barolo Brunate, pretty closely equivalent to your 2009 Gloria in price, scores and reputation. Cyber handshake?

"Pig guts" "you will regress to the mean" "MY TEAM IS AWESOME"

You need to spot me another 10, done

P.S. Only in this league will you see smack talk of "regress to the mean" and a Latin phrase

I start in a 20 point hole with 3 games to go huh? I shouldn't have convinced you that your team is hot garbage ;)

Alright Freelon you've got a bet! I need to finish the season with 10 more total points than you to win. Anything less than that you win.

Good luck my friend!

Good luck to you as well Henry- seeing as how you are predicted to get 20 more points than me this week I should have negotiated better methinks.....

You're looking good already this week Freelon! All kidding aside you've put on a master class in line up management this season. Already seems like you made the right choices again :)

Henry, thank you for not playing Kamara.

How on earth can the Chiefs score only 10 points against the Bills - at home? Yikes.

I agonized about playing Jimmy Graham or Carlos Hyde - played Graham, who scored .60 points more than Hyde. THAT was time well spent.

Dak Prescott is not clutch, with less than 6 points combined the past two weeks... Antonio Brown, the past two weeks, though...

Late season breakdowns/injuries are killing me as well. Tyrod Taylor (coaching desc.), Freeman (concussed), Fitzgerald (which QB is showing up?)

Thankfully I didn't have Crabtree!

All I can do now is play spoiler and try to avoid an 8th place finish, the win this week helped on that front.
