ABV: 10.5%. Don't think I've ever had this varietal, but I'm completely sold. The nose is a melange of apricot, guava, and citrus rind mixed with a hint of minerality and white pepper. The viscosity on the palate is kind of like a cross between a well-aged Sauternes and an Auslese Riesling, with a gush of ripe, juicy fruits that's lifted by the well-integrated acidity. The finish leaves you salivating. At approximately 15-years-old, this wine is drinking well now, but I'd say to hold on to it until at least the 20-year mark (2029) for the acid and sugar to integrate further. This wine can and will easily age well-beyond 40 years.

Pretty serious stuff. Golden colour, heady nose, roses, ripe yellow peach. Density on the palate with a rocky mineral streak and some bonfire stuff going on on the end of the palate. Only 4g of residual sugar so finishes pretty dry but nevertheless has an overall off-dry character. Moreish, but also pretty heavy going.

Funky Kirsch nose, a little mousey. With air something very gamey and as my neighbour observes some tapenade. Palate correct but not very exciting; a wine that needed a bit of sulfur on bottling. Not my cup of tea I'm afraid.

A game of two halves here. For a 12 year old wine this is pale, vibrant and youthful. Nose is fascinating with some pineapple cube boiled sweet, some ripe pear, some hints of dewey meadow and a touch of dill. Unfortunately the palate not quite punching at the same level of interest, a bit short and one dimensional although with some air a little grapefruit zest adds some interest

Just what I look for in an Alsace Pinot Blanc. First and foremost a lovely mineral transparency, slate and mountain stream. In the background something savoury that reminds me of chicken roasting juices, some flecks of tarragon and just a suggestion of clear honey. Palate is long, balanced with more of that slatiness and suggestions of lime cordial. One of my favourites of the lunch.

Un joli vin typique de cette maison: des beaux parfums de syrah, au début je sens une acidité bien présente mais après cela est moins marqué, le vin est charpenté avec une grosse longueur. Très bien.

No Detailed notes: Elegance is not known to this wine lots of oak. Butter, vanilla, very ripe fruit and a creamy flabby mouthfeel. Medium finish. If you like super buttery chardonnay, this is for you. For me, this is too overdone there is no minerality or really any sense of place except that it's hot.

Grassy nose, some suggestions of Rocket and later just a hint of spearmint. With air this grows on me there's a little crème pat and hints of Robinson's Lemon Barley Water. Palate is very fresh, a little sweeter than expected and has a certain nettle character. Nice start to proceedings.

Had another glass served blind side by side with a bunch of other top Cali poinots. This came out in third place of seven (only beaten by Hirsch and WS). In particular it stuck out as more elegant on the nose than most of the others. Red fruit accompanied by rose and spices, cardamum and cloves. Wonderful craftsmanship from Littorai, yet again

No Detailed notes: Quite oaky, ripe fruit, lacking depth and acidity. It felt like a mediocre oaked Chardonnay. Disappointing since most of this winemakers wines are quite good.

Rich and Dense. Ready now drink this Burgundian cry stalled Pinot! It actually developed a-lot of tertiary earth flavor while still providing sweet Pinot fruit flavors.

No noticeable oak here and pretty simple overall. Lemon, apple, and some chalky minerality, as expected for this style.

Quite amazed by how fresh this was despite it's age and being only a BB though! Good concentration and plenty of fruit left over, plus it feels like age has rounded out the acidity a little and made it more palatable than a young BB.

High-power Pinot with cherry-cola flavors, spices and a high alcohol. It is intense and with a good depth but also on the sweet side.

Was quite excited to revisit this as this was one of the first orange wines, Japanese wines, and cult wines i'd tasted when I first started getting into wines last January.

Slightly cloudy and orange in the glass. On the nose, lifted aromatics and some VA - no surprises here. Fairly floral as well with ripe stone fruit.

I found this significantly less grippy this time around, with soft and resolved tannins despite being quite young. On the palate the fruit is much more explosive and takes on a bit of a savoury, dried apricot character as well.

Overall I thought this was pretty well made but not nearly as distinct or unique as his reds. Wouldn't be difficult to pin this as a Georgian orange wine in a blind tasting, for example.

This taste ridiculously good at this moment in time. Sodt dark fruit notes on the nose. Red fruits as well but but as sweet smelling as well. Nice fruit flavors on the palate with tannins that are pretty much integrated into the wine. The tannins take over slightly but not heavily. Finish last quite long. I’m thoroughly surprise at how well this wine is. I thought it would be very primary being a well know cab from Cali an the price point. Wish I had more of these. I get more red fruits on the palate than dark fruits. I popped an poured this btw. All in all a really great wine for the price. Compared to my last bottle from a few months ago this is the opposite of what i had prior. Last time i decanted the wine this time I opened an enjoyed immediately. Maybe why I’m feeling diff about this bottle vs the last

Well balanced and high quality for Bourgogne. Level of texture matched the fruit, not overly ripe but fresh peaches and pear. Flint and acid drive it to have a long finish. Citrus notes on the note and slightly through the palate with almond notes towards the finish. Drink now.

Possibly still too young - very tight and tannic, even with an hour of air. A bit better on day two but still not as open as could be. Wait until 2027?

Really well made blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Pinot Blanc from Niki in Hokkaido.

The grapes are grown on the slopes behind the famous Naritaya soba noodle shop in Niki and vinified at Le Reve/Domaine Bless just down the road.

Pale lemon and slightly cloudy in the glass. The nose is quite similar to kerner in that it's got that contradictory green and honeyed nose, and here there's also a tiny whiff of VA.

On the palate it's more riesling-like and a bit of perceived sweetness from the candied lemon nose.

Considering this is only the 2nd vintage produced, a really good effort and shows strong character.

Delicious, well-balanced texture and acidity. Lovely ripe stone fruits, flinty, and some nice nutty notes of almond flakes. Didn't need to much time to open up, amazing producer and would keep an eye out for his wines again!

Disgorged in July 2021. Pale straw golden colour. Lime, green apple, nuts, almond, some marzipan, toast, brioche, and salty minerality, with great, fresh acidity, and very good length. Pleasant light Aspirin-like bitterness on the finish. Light- to medium-bodied and well-balanced. Good, but still tight, only unfolding slowly. I would hold.

The nose shows cherry and plum, has a sultry appeal, dark and savoury, cherry, raspberry, soy and spice flavors across the palate, is rich but not overdone, in fact was quite enjoyable with prime rib roast, really solid stuff

Very ripe fruits, oaky, lacking acidity, feels flabby. It felt like an overdeveloped, mediocre Chassange. It was poured down the drain. From a half bottle.

Some crazy stuff going on here...

Medium lemon in the glass. On first pass there's some oxidativeness on the nose. On the palate it's bright and has a fresh acidity but retains a slight savoury/salty almost sherry-like character.

While I don't think there was a huge amount of skin-contact here this definitely felt more aromatic than one would expect from Macabeo, and also had a little bit of grip.

Suppose it all comes down to the price now, I think this would be killer at 60 SGD

A bit too sweet for my taste, but it pair nicely with the Indian curry that we made.

Ripe tropical fruits, ripe peach, apricot, honey and there's also a bit of citrus fruits to give some balance and acidity, but I would have loved some more acidity to balance it even further. A nice slate minerality and a hint of petroleum. At €12 this is still a mighty fine wine!

Dark fruit, heavy on palate, lightens up as it sits in glass. Suggest letting it sit for at least one more year.

nose - non-fruit primary. heme, vegetal, and turned earth come to mind
mouth - in the mouth the fruit core is prime and center, though coiled. there's quite a big body here, with lots of structural elements. Plums, and some dark berry flavors surface, followed by a manageable sour-pucker battle where ultimately the pucker (tannins) win out. This wine needs to sleep for oh let guess ten years. i could see it evolving and gaining complexity while showcasing fruit is the way a good right bank bordeaux wine might.

A lot more salinity on the palate than I was expecting but this is very approachable already and was not shy on the nose or palate by any means. Especially once it warms up (or perhaps with more air, or perhaps both), the nose continued to develop and expand - this is a fun bottle to follow along for some time so I would definitely recommend trying that if time allows.

Deceptively pale and light and without much of a nose, this surprised on the palette with lovely lime (held in check) and lychee flavors, and even a hint of was that yuzu? Feels like it needs several years to really show what it can do. Love me the Etna carricantes, and totally intrigued to see/taste what can be done with this grape in California.

Wonderful drinking spot right now - great from pop and pour. Loads of citrus on the palate, but crisp minerality and tension in the wine. The one thing that was interesting to me was that it felt like there was somewhat more residual sugar in this bottling than I've typically had in other GG's (and I understand the requirement of having less than 9 g/L residual sugar), but I think the acidity balances it beautifully (this is not a note of displeasure by any means, just an observation).

Unless you have other Kellers at the same dinner, bringing most other producers of dry Riesling when you know there is going to be Keller is kind of like bringing a knife to a gunfight...
