Lots of ripe apple and toasted walnuts with plenty of toasted baguette. Fully mature fruit flavors and aromas with plenty of nuance, but also clearly mature. I like fresher styled Champagne, so preferred this a few years ago.

Good spice emerges in the middle. didn't seem classically Chablis to start, which fooled the group, but lots of mineral, saline and crunchy textures on finish. Great power as well. Excellent.

Moderate power and weight, but absolutely classic Chablis structure and textures. Good precision and tension with wonderful mineral finish. A surprisingly excellent 2005. Lots of classic Chablis orchard fruit character, but medium weight and complexity. I expected this to be the best wine tonight, and it frankly disappointed. Other bottles from the same case have consistent;y been better.

Very long, precise and lingering finish. Some thought this was the Clos in the flight, but this clearly didn't have the density of the wine in the next glass.

Lots of lemon, lemon peel and grapefruit with intense power and assertive mineral textures I could almost feel in my jaw. Slightly reserved flavors for now but with massive concentration, so somewhat of a brooding character for now. Very good now with lots of upside.
