Really interesting this. Typical Musar originality on both nose and taste. Did look old but didn't look too old. Flavour profile was 'bursting' with lots of spice and red fruit flavours. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't think the wine will get better but equally guess it will last another 3 ish years.

Fabulous. Like other reviewers - amazing VFM. Complex but also crowd pleasing. I'd guess at 3 years or so yet.

Loved this. Really evolved and nuanced Ch de Pape. Savoury but still with touch of sweetness. Confused by tasting notes from the community from 2016 saying ‘drink up’. Id say still got 2 years or so.

Delicious. Initially very 'lemon' and almost tart but softened and evolved to a broader warmer taste in 30 mins. Plenty of life in it yet.

I have said it before but this is one of my favourite styles and houses and this bottle was superb. Initially (again) hardly any nose but gradually opened up in glass. I have drink daters as up to 2028 which seems about right or perhaps a bit earlier.

Delicious Magnum. Developed over 2.5 hours. Drank on NYE with plate of cold seafood. No hurry to drink these. Good for well into 24/25 if i can resist.

Another delicious Charles H wine. This Magnum was from 2013 vintage but included 40% reserve wines. Disgorged in 2018. Drank (slowly) over Christmas afternoon as an apéritif. By the end (3 hours) it had definitely evolved into more ‘bready’ yeasty taste so I would guess has few years to go yet even though in magnum. Love this very underrated wine.

OMG - this is class. Forgive men as first bottle of 6 and i don't usually drink at this price point but it's velvet with such nuanced flavours and a wonderful accompaniment to a venison stew. I will drink happily over next 2 years or so

Wonderful Magnum. Mine was disgorged in March 2020 and i would estimate will improve for 2 years and last a further 2 at least. So drink 2025- 2027

V nice cool climate Cab Saul. Drunk with a Lamb Kofta curry and matched wonderfully. Definitely a year or more left in these.

Again - a very classy wine. Not surprised at how rich it has developed given it is 05 vintage but disgorged in 15. 10 years on lees tells. Having said that, a little like previous recent bottles the taste is going a little flat after initial warm, brioche etc. I think it’s running out of time. So i intend to drink remaining bottles in next 6 months and move on to Magnums

Very pleasant wine. Fairly pricy £27. Decanted for 1 hour - arguably could have taken more and/or leave remaining bottles for a year or tow until 2025. Nice bit of spice!

Arguably this should have been a bit beyond its ideal window (difficult to judge as I dont know disgorgement dates just when i bought it) but it was superb. Classic PN dominated richness. A great wine.
