This wine will age well; I would love to try it again in 5 years when the bouquet will, no doubt, be more developed

Lush dark fruits and hints of black pepper on the palate. Full bodied with medium acidity and 14% alcohol. Long peppery finish.

Thinner body than I remember on the 1995, and a pronounced acidity. Still quite lovely/ Perhaps the nose built up my expectations.

Best Pinot Gris I've ever had. The pear fruit was luscious and juicy, but not overly sweet smelling. Nice level of acid supports voluptuous body and long finish. Higher alcohol (13%) concealed in good structure. Blows the pants off any French or Italian version I've had so far.
