Enjoyed with grilled steaks for Memorial Day. Full bodied but with the Merus characteristic purity, it was a nice match for our dinner. The wine is in its prime drinking window but does not seem at risk of decline any time soon.

Did a cellar inventory over the holidays and discovered some “lost” bottles (that were not in my CT cellar), including this one. I was beyond pleasantly surprised by this wine. Pale color, beautiful fruit, full bodied without being over the top all underpinned by a solid structural spine. Should certainly be good/great for a couple more years.

Outstanding. Drinking beautifully with a rich bouquet. Full bodied with a hint of a backbone remaining and pure Bordeaux pleasure. I wish every bottle I popped open were in such an ideal drinking window.

Drank a couple bottles of Verite in the past and was disappointed. Didn't see them developing, but this was a very nice (not amazing) bottle.

A beautiful experience, far beyond my modest expectations. Good fill, perfect cork removed intact. Light garnet color and light body. Leather, tobacco and prunes. Hints of remaining fruit. The wine improved as evening progressed. Graceful and elegant.
