A lot of vibrant fruit. Very dark. Cassis, ripe blackberry, black olive notes on palate. A bit hot. At least a couple of good years left.

Medium red. Initially seemed light and lacking fruit, but opened up over the next hour. Well balanced. More savory than ripe fruit, with some spice and pepper and mint. Good wine with food. Still vibrant but on downward slope.

Great fruit, very smooth texture, silky tannins, but high alcohol (15 ABV) is a little offputting.

Took about 1 hour to open up. Initially somewhat tart with off putting fruit upon opening, and was concerned I had waited too long. That was not the case and it ended up being quite enjoyable. It really softened up and fruit developed after an hour. Medium red color. Pomegranate, tarragon, verbena on nose. Palate is soft with very good length, has cherry, watermelon, nutmeg. Good balance, interesting wine.

Light red, light body. Watermelon on the nose, sour cherry and pomegranate on palate. Fruit is not as ripe as most Cali pinots, but it has good acidity and is refreshing, though lacking in depth.

Very nice. Santa Rita hills. Medium dark red. Dark cherry on nose with a little spice. Great mouthfeel, well balanced, a little acid. Plum and cassis on palate. Integrated tannins. Could age a few more years. wish I had more.

Very good. Gorgeous nose with ripe blueberry and honeysuckle. Medium weight on palate, with ripe melon, black cherry, pomegranate, cinnamon, nicely balanced, long finish. Good stuff with plenty of life left.

Delicious. Medium light red. Berry, pomegranate, and menthol on nose. Lighter style Pinot with good acidity and bright fruit on the palate, smooth finish with slight heat on finish. 14.5 ABV. Black cherry, strawberry lifesavers, watermelon, cola, hint of cloves. Has aged nicely and is still compelling.

Good dumol Pinot plenty of life left. extracted. Rich constrained berry nose. Strawberry jam, sour cherry, cranberry, blood orange on palate, five spice, viscous with a long finish.

Light red color. Beautiful nose with cherry, wet wood, dried green herbs. Luscious mouthfeel. Well balanced with mineral tones, raspberry, pomegranate. Refreshing acidity even though it has a lot of fruit and 14.3 ABV. Mild integrated tannins. Long finish.

Very dark red. Blueberry, wet leather, smoky on nose. Smooth viscosity on palate, with melon, pomegranate molasses, blackberry. Fruit starting to fade slightly. Can taste the alcohol but not overpowering and wine is mostly balanced and well integrated. Really smooth. Drink up.

Bright ripe berry fruit on nose and palate. Captures the essence of a RRV Pinot. Some structure and acidity but I would drink now because it’s so good right now. Very enjoyable.

Very good. Great nose. Seemed a little too light at first, but really developed after about 30 minutes. Classic Pinot profile. 12.5 ABV, good acidity. Well balanced and not over extracted. Well made.

A few of the 2013 RCs are surprisingly not good, and this is one of them. Really lacking any fruit - a very bland almost tasteless wine. I rated prior bottles of this slightly higher a few years ago, so perhaps the fruit just disappeared over time.

Second 2013 RC I opened with an off flavor tonight (other was La Neblina). Very flabby wine. Restrained nose with more mineral notes than fruit. Pale red. On the palate, barely any fruit, sour and fades quickly. In a blind tasting I might guess it was a $10 wine. Well below normal RC standards.

Not corked, but something happened to this bottle. Cork showed seepage a quarter of way up cork. I opened a 2013 RC Alberigi right after pouring this out, and it had similar off flavors too. Cork was fine on that one. Neither were really drinkable. I now have concerns about my remaining bottles of 2013 RC pinot noir.

Restrained and tight on the nose - earthy, raw meat, menthol. Lots of tannin and sediment. Chewy on the palate, sour cherry, rhubarb, tobacco. Enjoyable with several years left.
