This wine is in a good place right now. Plenty of dark fruit very soft tannins. Sultry, wraps your tongue in a warm blanket of fruity chocolate and a touch of earthy menthol.

The color of the wine is deep purple. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. Aromas are blackberry, vanilla, chocolate and molasses. On the palate I experienced black currant, blackberry, plum, basically all dark fruitiness with a little dusty vanilla, cinnamon, and definitely chocolaty molasses that powers its way to the front. The body is medium/full. The wine has satin-like texture and finishes medium with medium acidity. Overall an enjoyable wine but no doubt showing its youth. Glad to have a case to experience its journey and report.

This was a great bottle. My last of the 2007 vintage for me. I think this will still show well far a few years but was really nice and soft with a pliable back bone. Nice dark fruit on the nos and palate with a touch of earth. Just beautiful.
