Like this better than smith's 2010 cab. The blend has a more balanced creaminess to it. Easy drinking with just enough substance.

This is one of those "manly" wines that I don't quite get. The alcohol and tannins assault my mouth. Some nice flavors going on, but they're crying for help. I dunno. The insides of my cheeks are mad at me.

Day 1: opened at room temp. Tannins and alcohol overpowered the flavors. Day 2: chilled slightly. MUCH Better. Pepper and fruit emerge, alcohol, and tannins settle to a nice balance.

Game and pepper on the nose and palate. Tastes unbalanced at first but opened up after 20 minutes. Awesome value and representation of the Rhone blend.
