Nose: ripe cherry, hint of wild strawberry, a medicinal note in the shadows. After vigorous swirling a brooding note of earth arrives with some spice.
Palate: Cherry, cranberry with some blood orange, a touch of forest floor as it finishes. Medium + acidity and medium finish.

Overall this was pretty, ready but not overly sophisticated.

Nose: sea breeze, flint, pears and white flowers
Palate: Mineral, pears, rounder than the nose would lead on, with medium plus acidity and medium finish.

Overall the nose was gorgeous and this was very pleasurable to drink but the finish was a bit short today. I like the underlying material is there so i think some time will resolve that nit and my score reflects that. Enjoy!

Overall the nose was fantastic but the palate did not follow suit. These are ready today to be consumed I don't see any upside potential in waiting. Very low qpr on this showing...

Eye: ruby red
Nose: pomegranate and a nice spice, tea like.
Palate: A bit one dimensional, stems, spice, fruit there but not?, a slight bit of earthy funk. After the nose i expected better....Medium + acidity and medium finish.

Tasted side by side with the 14' Leroux villages which was fantastic...didn't help the wines cause here. I love this producer so i think this bottle just had an off night...or i hope. Hold.

Deep scents of purple black fruits, little spice, forest floor smells lovely. The palate was much more masculine with black fruits, leather and medium acidity and medium long finish.

Decanted and poured. Nose had Ripe red fruits, spice some earth but buried in the background. The palate continued with ripe red fruits and some black fruits. Earth on the back end with medium plus acidity and medium plus finish. Although primary it was accessible and very enjoyable. Drink now or hold for short term cellaring.

Nose: Bright cherry, forest floor, touch of oak. After some vigorous swirling the forest floor take a more prominent role.
Palate: Darker fruits but still red with earth. medium plus acidity and medium finish.

Overall this is very nice but the wine while bright on entry seemed a bit hollow on the mid palate. More time will add some weight here and the underlying material is there to do so. enjoy!

Nose was plums, violets and hint of wild strawberry, sexy.
Palate: crunchy black cherries, stems showing nearly obtrusive with medium acidity and a medium plus finish.

Overall the wine was nice but no match for the Hellenthal shown beside it. The wine does still need time integrate the tannins and I hope the fruit steps more forward over the stems as well. I thought this may struggle to fully come together so we shall see but that’s what makes this so fun.

A medicinal nose with black fruits. The palate was fresh with bright cherries and some earth. The wine had medium + acidity and a medium finish. This has some nice stuffing and i think has some great upside in the next 6-18 months. My score is based on todays performance, after some time this could be at 90.
