Not quite what I was expecting, and a bit simple. Enjoyable, and favourable comments from guests, but not much there for the price.

Mellow, with a touch of tannin still in the mouth. Smells of red berries. Long finish... a bit closed down, but enjoyable after 30 min of decanting.

Just outstanding white. Maybe it was the company, but pineapple, exotic fruits. Fresh, drinking perfect. Will it get better? So good now. A touch of petrol. Very good and a nice change from Graves.

A really nice bottle. A little frightened with a very crumbly cork. Amber-orange in color with very little acidity. Complex aromas similar to cognac, but still a bit a fruit. This wine is not going to get any better and it's time to drink up with pleasure!

Decanted for about an hour with the need to blow off some volatile sourness... revealed a slightly tart red fruit flavour, and was not a typical pauillac that I was expecting. was plasurable, but not to the standards of other yummy d'armailhacs I've had. MAybe a few more years and it would be better?

Cork had a bit of seepage, and the capsul had begun to crumble a bit so was bit worried. Openned and decanted for about an hour. Colour was just beginning to show amber at the edge. Beautiful cedar and berry fruit nose, complex. I think this was a perfect time to drink and I don't think it will improve with tannins softenned. A bit acidic on the pallet, but softens with time. Flavour of dark berry's long finish excellent wine. Lorna's 31st birthday (again).

The 85 Lynch Bages was definately mature, with pale amber rim and restrained nose. Decanted about 15 minutes with some improvement in the glass over the next hour. Had at Lorna's with medium rare roast beef. SLightly acidic, some rasberry notes, subtle complexity. I had a 1975 which was better, but pleasant mature bordeaux dinking.

I had a bottle back in 2001 upon release, and was really impressed at the fruit. Classic Pauillac, but the fruit has shut down a lot in storage. The tanins are still very strong, but I really think this wine has a long future ahead of it and definately classic crowd pleaser when it gets more complex. Try again in 2011. Openned at Johnny Mac's place.

Decanted for 1 hour. Bright Ruby in colour with no signs of age yet. Nose is not immediately apparent, but does have a slight chemical/clinal note. Wina after one hour is tart, with Rasbery nuiances that are not appealing to my taste. Tasted one-day after a bottle of Certan de May 1999, and there is no comparison. Would not recommend, but if you own it try another 4 - years bottle age to see if it improves. Bottle perfectly stored since delivery in 02.

A real find at a Niagra Falls liquor store. Light, with a little amber at the edge. Verry Pretty feminine nose, subtle but beautiful indeed. Reflects the the quality of the first growth and recognizable. Mature and ready to drink.
