Not sure if it was too old or damaged but way too fruity. Tasted like alcohol + grape juice.

Not as good as others. A little too much tobacco and leather and not particularly well balanced. Maybe another year in bottle. But still, for the price it was good but I liked the 2017s better.

Drinking very well. Mellow with red fruits and earthy notes. We’ll balanced. Good but not particularly long finish. This will still be good for a while. No need to drink now. Overall an excellent Barolo for the price.

Garnet to brown in color. Chocolate and coffee on the nose as well as ripe/jammy red fruits. Same on the palate and low tannins. Really drinking we’ll. It is also just “different” but in a good way. Clearly not a “traditional” grape but this is not a flaw. We need more of the non-cab/Pinot/Tempranillo/etc.

Raisins, dates, some figs. Sweet but we’ll balanced. As noted, very different than the PX 1927, but that’s neither good nor bad, just don’t expect the same.

Some very mild citrus notes. However I missed some of the salinity/ocean notes. Al flavors were very subdued. Nothing off putting her but rather bland.

Still going strong, not past its prime. I got blueberries on the nose, ripe, maybe a bit jammy. Some dry earthiness and fairly soft tannins.

Strawberry and raspberry. Fairly fruit forward. A little acidic. Not many secondary flavors. Very low tannins. Not structured enough to go with a meal but fairly good just to sip on own while relaxing.

Blackberries and blueberries. Not many secondary flavors or complexity. I got a short finish. However, I agree with other posters - for under $10 this is a very good wine.

Light bodied, strawberry notes. Not a lot of depth or complexity. An “easy” wine. But for this price, I will definitely buy again.

I’ve had this wine (different vintage maybe) previously and enjoyed it. This time it was horrible. As others have stated, it is cloyingly sweet. All I tasted was raw sugar. Truly bad. Most of it went down the sink.

Not as crisp as others. Less minerally notes than I expected. Honestly, it was only OK. I would give it another try though.
