Very approachable for a young wine. Great with a NY Strip steak. Will only improve with time. Will definitely get more.

A great everyday drinker. Not overly complex but I don't care. The kind of red that every restaurant should keep on hand as a medium to low price point wine.

A nice crowd pleasing cab. Was gifted to me so I don't know the price and don't care to find out. A nice bbq party wine.

In search of a great cabernet under $15. This one is very average. A decent mid-week drinker. A little fruity and not complex. Still, I did enjoy it enoigh to finish the bottle. However, the search goes on.

Robert Parker gives this wine a 91 and I agree. Paired with lasagna. Really nice. BTW, does not pair well with pineapple. Don't ask!

Our first Touriga Nacional wine. Notes of blackberry. Dry and bold, not unlike a cabernet. Long lingering finish. Will definitely purchase again

Medium bodied and very smooth. Could almost pass for a red zinfandel. However, very enjoyable. Paired nice with pasta in a marinara sauce.

A decent everyday medium bodied cab but nothing special. If offered at a party, I would drink it but I wouldn't serve it. There are just too many better cabs at the same price point.

We had this at a steak house a couple of weeks ago. Then polished off two bottles during the Orange Bowl.....Go Wisconsin! The best 22 dollar bottle of wine i've had to date. Will definitely buy more.

I like this wine. Not complex but a great everyday drinker. A year or two in the cellar will only improve it.

Decanted for 4 hrs. First glass was very edgy. Second and subsequent glasses were amazing. Definitely going to buy and cellar this wine.

Thinner than a cabernet. Slightly acidic but not unpleasant. Decant for an hour before drinking. Nicely paired with a porterhouse steak. I will buy this wine again.

Had a tempranillo in Mexico which was excellent. This one was very non-descript. I don't think I will score it since I don't have much experience with this grape. Reminded me of a very average Bordeaux. I think I will stick with the bolder cabernets from Alexander Valley.

Not objectionable but nothing special here. Kind of like "cab lite." Alcohol on the nose and very little finish. Did get better with the second glass but not overly so. Probably won't buy again.

Not quite as bold as other California Cabs. Short finish. Nothing special but not objectionable. Probably won't buy again.
Markedly better the 2nd day. Smoother with a much better finish.
Patty....out with the girls....I'm sitting at the kitchen listening to "Police and Thieves".....the Junior Marvin version...with my 2nd glass of Manifesto.....thinking " This wine isn't half bad. Probably should have decanted it longer the first night.

Patty and I both liked this wine. Decanted for one hour. Blackberry notes with a slightly tart but smooth finish. Would buy again but at price point of $17.99, there are better choices available.

A decent everyday cabernet. Patty and I had this with hor dourves at a local sports bar. A bit edgy ( tart and acidic) but it paired nicely with the sliders and flat bread pizza we were eating. I would have it again in the same type of venue.

Patty and I wanted to try a Shiraz and the salesman at Total Wine recommended this label. We generally enjoy California Cabernets and, never having a Shiraz, we had nothing to compare to. Nevertheless, this wine was very enjoyable. Fruity with a smooth velvety finish. We had it with pasta but it would be fine all by itself. We will definitely buy this wine again.
2/13/17. Had this wine with General Tso's chicken. Probably not the best pairing for this wine. Pasta and steak are much better.

Patty liked this better than me but she tends to like drier, tarter and edgier cabernets. Label says "rich and velvety" but I thought it was more "tart and aggressive." I really can't speak to the nose, mid pallet or finish because I'm not exactly sure what they mean. Suffice to say it is not unpleasant. Gets better with the second glass. We enjoyed this with a barbecue chicken pizza but it would be really good with a steak.

Patty loves this wine. It's one of my favorites too. Great aroma. Pleasant taste and smooth lingering finish. It may be the everyday wine for the well informed but it is our special occasion wine. Thoroughly enjoy this wine.
4/15/17. Does not disappoint. A great everyday cabernet.

Quite possibly the best 10 dollar bottle of cabernet that I have tasted. Slightly dry with a smooth but slightly acidic finish. Mellows out nicely after decanting for about an hour. I will definitely buy this one again. Great QPL.
2/6/17 found this wine at Total Wine for $7.71. Even a better deal.
