Still needs some time to mellow out. Don't touch for another 1-2 yrs.

Was going incredibly strong on day 4! Amazing fruit here. Not that far off the '05.

Day 1: Nice sweetness, some honey, apple, lifting acidity... paired nicely with pork tenderloin.

I blew it with this - only decanted about 30 minutes. After 2+ hours this turned into a different, more complex, delicious bordeaux... in time for me to have my final few sips.

Previous taster nailed this with "creamy" fruit - this was creamy, blackberry fruit with nice grip. Terrific. Drank very well on 2nd night as well. In no danger of falling apart soon.

This gives me real hope that the '03 Les Murgers will come around. This bottle was great, I was particularly impressed at how well it was drinking 24 and 48 hours later. Plenty of stuffing.

Fantastic bottle. Reminded me much more of bordeaux than previous bottles. It has gained some complexity. Wonderful complement to food... I don't think this will get any better - at its peak.

Very nice but it either needs significantly longer decant (only decanted 1.5 hrs) or a couple more years to mellow out. This should improve.

Very nice... tannins and oak might integrate better in 1-2 yrs. Happy to have 3 more.

Very nice. Held it's own for next 2 nights, probably improved on day 2. No major rush to drink 2nd bottle.

Decanted about 1.25 hrs, this wine was really opening up by time we finished it. Great value, would decant a full 3+ hrs next time.

This was just awesome. Best CA chard I've had so far... delicious, creamy, tropical fruits with well-integrated oak... served with fresh haddock and cod that we caught just hours earlier. Terrific stuff - wish I bough a case! Buy again in the future.

A bit disappointing... on the positive, it stayed strong for 3-4 days and probably would have been at its best with 24 hrs under it.

I don't know if it's an off bottle, but not the 88-90 pt wine I experienced last year.

Nice value in CA syrah. Great meaty mouthfeel. Try to give next bottle a longer decant - maybe 3-4 hrs.

Enjoyed with grilled tenderloin. Decanted 1 hour. Just lip-smacking delicious. Nose improved with time. My wife and I rarely drink a full bottle in 1 night, but the bottle was gone before we knew what hit us. Sweet cabernet fruit, molasses/brown sugar, clearly a very well made wine, if not complex. If I drank this often, would I find it too sweet?

I thought I was going to like this a lot based on the nice burgundian nose, but the palate was spritzy and unpleasant. maybe the leftovers will drink better tonight.

Speaking of QPR alerts, I thought this was one of the best QPRs of the past year for me. For approx. $7 this delivered perfectly balanced, bright fresh mouthfilling fruit with no off-putting characteristics whatsoever. Pairs nicely with food. Almost seemed to have a viognier lift to it. Super value!

Just delicious, really hit it's stride 3 hrs in. Wonderful dark red fruits, fine tannins, nice long finish. I think there's a beautiful freshness to this wine. Nothing wrong with drinking this now, in my opinion...

Very different from the previous bottle. Other bottle was lush, silky, raspberry/strawberry jam. This was far more rustic, sharper, and tighter...a different wine entirely. Hmmmm...

I'm bumping this up 2 pts - 48 hrs after being open this was even better. Round lush fruit. Dark cherry notes. Short finish, lacked the persistency I'd like... but a nice value nonetheless.

Good full ruby-red. Much to like about the lush ripe fruit here, but the finish and overall complexity paled in comparison to the Chopin. Very likeable.

Waves of dark blue and purple fruits on the nose - very Aussie-like (in a good way). Plenty of oak and cedar notes on the palate... overall, nice... will try remainder tonight.
