This wine was a bit awkward initially and after about 2 hours it really developed and was just classic Bevan magic for the rest of the night. Absolutely decant if you can.

After decanting for a couple hours, this becomes very soft and smooth. Everything is in a good place. It's such an effortless joy to drink but not at all in an uninteresting way.

Very consistent Cab. Enjoyed a glass on night 2 and it's still very powerful. Solid QPR. Recommend an hour or two decant. Tannins are present but silky and very much add to the complexity in a positive way.

Honestly, I am blown away by the quality of this wine for the price. Fruit forward with tannic complexities. If tasting blind I'd think it cost $90+. Classic Napa Cab at a bargain!

Just outstanding. Drank over 2 nights. Plenty of tannins but integrated well with full dark fruits. A fair amount of sediment also. This wine will drink well for a while!

I'd recommend a 90 min decant. It absolutely opens up after that. Beautiful full flavored Cabernet. Plenty of energy to age.

I think this is a nice enough wine in the $40-$50 range but doesn't exceed the QPR. Plenty of fruit. I'd buy again for a group as it would be well received. Held up over 2 nights.

This hits a 96+ for me on night #2. It's rich, deep, and complex by this point. Drinks young with potential on the first night. More like a 93. Very happy I experienced the difference.

Youthful yet robust dark fruits. Potential to improve. Enjoyed greatly again on night 2 after sitting on the counter over 24 hours. Good QPR. Drinks as well as anything in the $100.00 range.

Enjoyed after about a 90 minute decant and it was gorgeous. Great bold fruits and depth. It continued to open as the night went on.
This was slightly more open than the Bevan 2019 Cabernet Wildfoote Vixen, Stags Leap District that I had the night before. I would absolutely recommend!

This wine is drinking great almost upon opening. Still going strong and evolving 4-5 hours later. Smooth and balanced fully showcasing all of the Napa Cabernet fruit. Excellent! Drink or Hold. Should continue to improve.

My 2nd time trying this 2016 and at this point, it is mind blowing. Give it a full 90 minutes to open up and then it is a fully powerful, fruit forward wine. Absolutely amazing. Deep vibrant fruits but very smooth with no hard edges.

As advertised, this wine is nothing short of remarkable. It evolves throughout the entire evening. Best between hours 2 and 3. Absolutely has Bordeaux dominant traits initially but as the hours pass, the Napa fruits become stronger. I am humbled after drinking this wine. It is an experience.

Enjoying this again on night 2 after some air and it is smooth, balanced, with great fruits.
On the first night it was stubborn and in & out of consciousness. It's all there but it's all about the timing.
My recommendation is to wait or be patient with air.

Best tonight after about an hour. Bold and full fruit. Drinking young and energetic. Might benefit from further aging. Enjoying 3+ hours later and it's settling in. No reason to rush yet but easy to enjoy now. Not necessarily showing Syrah specific characteristics.

An absolutely great wine with barely an hour needed to open up. The depths of this wine are astonishing with little hard edges to it. It is utterly breathtaking if you enjoy this style of deep bold napa fruits.

Had the 2019 and no surprise, it was much more ready to drink than this 2020. It started to really open after 48 hours.
Orin Swift wines, regardless of the price point, almost always come around. Otherwise they can be dark and brooding with limited fruit. With the ideal amount of time, they can shine. In 2025, this should be better.

This wine needed a good 2 hours to develop. Deep and extracted even from the beginning. A bit of a cough syrup thing happening initially but after about 60-90 minutes, it comes into its own. Every bit a full fruit Bevan wine for sure. I agree with others, some additional time will be beneficial.

This wine was definitely enjoyable but in my experience with other Martha's vintages, it needs a lot of time before it balances out. It's drinking very young and even with 4-5 hour decant, it didn't settle down. I'm going to wait another couple years.

Enjoyed this wine over 6 hours. Highly tannic and acidic initially. It blossomed beautifully after about 4 hours. Amazing at hour 6. Ended up being very fruit forward. We loved it.

A really enjoyable wine overall. All of the expected full Napa fruit but in good balance. I'd recommend decanting for an hour. Improvement enjoyed throughout the evening makes me wonder if the best years are ahead.
