Beautiful, all what you ask for in an aged Barollo, Truffels, ripe cherry fruit, balsamic vinegar... unfortunately didn't give it enough time, started to really open up after about 40 minutes. Beautiful, give it time.

Disappointing and plain. Ripe Cherry fruit, but lacks acidity and any "sous bois" notes for its age. Not really bad, but not interesting at all.

On nose ripe quince, honey, white flowers, flintstone; high but nicely integrated acidity, medium + body, honey notes. Ages gracefully; none of the typical rubber petrol Riesling notes but lots of lush stonefruit. Great finish that beggs for another glass.

Unfortunatly spoiled, bad storage at vendors, seems like a whole batch of Künstler as I opened to Erste Lage 2017 which were spoiled as well.

Very pale salmon color, on the nose red fruit, strawberry yoghurt, raspberry; on the palate high acidity, fruity, low -to medium body, medium long pleasant finish; not very complex, straight forward refreshing summer wine.

2019 vintage: Great value, very fruity, medium-low tannins, good acidity. Not the most complex Morgon, but more body then an average Beaujolais-Village. 2019 drinks great now.

Tart red fruit, high acidity, light tannins. A bit spicy - black pepper, clove, menthol & eucalyptus. Starting to show some earthness, sous bois. Still have a few bottles, will be interesting to see how this develops.

Red fruit, Pinot Noir characteristics, but thin and a weird sweet - bitter finish (cough medicine). Not aweful, but not good either, worse on second day. Would not buy again.

Red fruit, strawberry, cherry. Tar and truffel, very balanced, beautiful mouthfeel and long slightly sweet finish. Drank better after a few hours open (probably drinks better in a few years).

Pale color, medium intensity, some red fruit, herbal notes, eucalyptus, anis and a strong note of caraway, which makes it kind of interesting.
Medium+ acidity. Round and balanced. Probably towards the end of drinking window, fruit would probably been livelier a couple of years ago, but still very enjoyable. Laporte is just a great producer for white and reds in the center loire.

The bottle I am drinking is actually Silvaner L Silvaner. Nice acidity, citrus fruit and herbacious. Long finish. Got even better during the day as it opened up.

Loved it. Lively acidity. Nice fruit; herbal and some minerality. Quite complex. Great to drink now. Laporte just knows how to make great Sauvignon Blanc, even from the lesser known Appelations.

Medium+ acidity, ripe dark cherry, well integrated tannins. Very nicely balanced, although a bit simple. Great value for the price. I think its on its peak, would not wait much longer.

Not ageing well, liked it a lot better about 2 years ago. Still good, but find it less mineral and steely (which I loved about it). Good acidity, a fruit a bit on the green side.

The bottle already had a few years in the cellar and wine was well developed. Lime, ripr apple and a typical rubber Riesling note. Solid example of a Riesling bubble. High acidity makes it good for ageing. Should have a vintage on it to keep track.

Coudn´t take detailed nose as drank with a cold, but still enjoyed it a lot.

Golden color, one would suspect that it would be older, but probably Pinot Gris adds more color to the wine.
Nose of ripe quince and apple plus a smokey note like silex, which makes it really interesting.
On the palate dry, medium+ acidity with a perfect round mouthfeel with just the right amount of alcohol (12.5%) - not overall alcoholic as many Grauburgunder turn out lately. Still fresh, but light oxidation note (bruised apple). I guess its on its peak. Beautiful (very) cool climate Pinto Gris.

Ripe pear on the nose, medium body, dry, medium acidity; very nicely balanced. Not too much alcohol or residual sugar as so many Grauburgunder show today.

Great everyday foodwine. Light on the palate, simple, crisp cherry, hint of almond, high acidity, medium long very pleasant finish. Goes great with all kind of cheeses, pasta, pizza, actually I think it would go great with almost everything.

A Pinot Noir from Provence made by Louis Latour, had to try it, unfortunately not what I hoped for...

Sight: Pale intensity, ruby color.. typical PN so far so good

Nose: Medium intensity, red fruit and a green note to it, bell pepper, tomato leaf, a bit like a cheap PN from Chile

Palate: As expected from the nose, red fruit, cranberries, cherry, some white pepper, but also this greenish note and no signs of typical PN tertiary notes. High acidity and unripe tannins, green tea.

Conclusion: Being from Provence I expected way more mature fruit, I guess that there was a problem with the phenolic ripening, the fruit accumulated too much sugar before the seeds where ripe or something like that... who knows I am not a winemaker... but considering that thanks to global warming even basic PN from Burgundy are now very drinkable I would spend the $2 extra and just get a regular Burgundy PN, which offers a way better value... The Louis Latour 2019 Burgundy PN is so much better...actually every Passetoutgrain is. Tough to make decent PN in a warm climate even for such an experienced house as LT.

Skip on this one. Sorry Louis Latour, better stick to Burgundy.

Better on second day, needs air. Plenty of red fruit, strawberry, raspberry, flowers and a hint of vainilla. Medium high acidity, Medium tannins, medium body, very fruit forward, nice medium-long finish.

Great wine, not very complex, but a great value and very food friendly.

Ripe red fruit, cherry, strawberry; vainilla, violets, eucaliptus, médium+ acidity, médium tannins, médium+ finish, developed nicely and should drink very well at least over the next 5 years.
Very good

This was hands down the best Silvaner I´ve ever tried, very complex nose, ripe fruit (apple, pear), herbal, anis, hazelnut, hints of petrol... one of those wines where you get something different each time you smell it. Good acidity and medium +body, great long finish as well. Excellent.

secondary notes of smoke, cedar, leather and earthy notes

In the mouth high acidity, low tannins and medium boy.

Great Cru Beaujolais, easy to drink but complex enough to keep you entertained.

On the nose peach, lime drop, honey and a slight rubber note. On the palate off dry, medium plus acidity, and a smooth, silky mouthfeel. Medium to long finish.

After a few hours it seemed less silky, and the lime drop changed more to lime zest and grapefruit.

Very good Washington Riesling.

Color: Brownish edges, looks older as it actually is, but cork in good condition.
Nose:Mature red fruit, strawberry, cherry, orange peel, earthy notes, truffle
Palate: earthy and very tannic even after 2 hours of decanting, lacks fruit
Medium finish
Liked it but not loved it, had better Barolos at this price point, donˋt think it gets any better with age.

Dark red, high extraction, on the nose eucaliptus, tart cherry, white pepper, vainilla. On the palate, it start kind of greenish, than some dark chocolate and vainilla take over. High tannins, high alcohol.

Chilenean Cabernets just don´t do it for me. I know its a personal thing, but the menthol, eucaliptus thing, the alcohol, the tannins, the dark chocolate, lots of things but fruit, many love it and call it complexity, for me it just doesn´t come together. Well as said, I think its personal and I am just lacking the education to judge it objectively.

But even if one likes the style, for $ 70 I find it way overpriced as I don´t see a big difference compared to way cheaper chilenean Cabs.
