As exceptional as on 9/2/23. I may have to look for some more older Burgundies. This was delightful and I have the same impressions as from the last bottle on 9/2/23.

Holding up in the cellar nicely for 29 years of careful storage. Remarkably fruity on the nose and palate after a few minutes of barnyard to dissipate. Sorry to see this last one depart.

Wow! I found this in my cellar and thought all of it had been consumed back in '15. This is a real surprise, lovely nose, not unlike a nice Rhone (perhaps something imported by Kermit Lynch). Super smooth on the palate with a loooong finish. I doubt there are any more in my cellar, but with close to 2000 btls, I hope for another surprise!

Unbelievably refined for such a young Bordeaux, which I would not have purchased if not so praised by Jeff Leve on CT. I would love to see how this progresses to the middle of his current "tasting window" of 40 years, but I don't anticipate living to that date, since I would be past 100. This is delightful to drink now and I have plenty of Bordeaux in the 20-35 year range with which this can compete on an "enjoyability" scale, which were 3-10 times as costly.

Decanted thru Vinturi, medium color in the glass (like a Pinot Noir), kind of old world floral on the nose, VERY smooth on the palate, quite fruity but pleasantly so. A steal from winetext at $10 delivered.

Alas, my last bottle consumed almost 10 years since my last opening on 11/2/14. Purple Tooth's review of 11/19/23 is a perfect description of my experience last night. I wish that I had more of this!

Almost 3 years since my last bottle consumption and WOW!, it is still exceptional. Decanted at the restaurant and it improved noticeably after 30 minutes or so. Next bottle I will decant earlier to see how it does with an hour or so in the decanter.

Pleasant nose, slightly floral, medium light color, smooth on the palate and easily quaffed, but not something I would buy again, but...I have 2 more bottles from a mystery case from Wine Library, which I will not likely buy again since they have been a big disappointment for the last two "mystery cases".

What more can I say but:WOW!! Beautiful dark color, cork was perfect as though bottled in the last year instead of 25+ years! Ethereal nose with just hints of cedar, truffles, DARK fruit, and after time in the decanter, a hint of chocolate. Sadly, I have only one bottle left. Delightful palate experience with a very long finish. This may have been my highest personaly rated rated wine ever.

Pleasant nose, nice color, good for a young Napa Cab, and pleasant to drink. It might be interesting to see how this ages over a few years. If I were younger, I would experiment with holding and slowly go through a case over a decade or more, but I have too many older wines I am hard pressed to finish in my lifetime. A reasonable value from Costco with their current $10/btl discount.

This has been consistently outstanding for the 7+ years since I bought a case from an impeccable private cellar. It still looks like a very young wine even at age 30. It still has the nose of cigar box, a bit of leather, and loads of fruit. Amazing stuff!. Sadly, this is probably my last bottle unless my record keeping is flawed..

Very much old world profile, cedar/pencil shavings, a hint of barnyard, old leather baseball glove, and DARK fruit on the nose. Smooth on the palate with a surprisingly long finish for a "basic" Rhone. Glad to have one more cellared, but wish that I had more from Garagiste at $24/Magnum delivered to FL 7 years ago.

Upon decanting, nose was rather funky, but quickly blew off and was quite pleasant after 30 minutes or so. Pale in the glass with bricking apparent. Still showing fruit but I need to drink any more in the cellar while they are enjoyable.

Nose of ripe strawberries/cherries, chocolate, wet stones. Palate: very soft, elegant, ripe strawberries and cherries. Being a Bordeaux lover, I own but a couple dozen Burgundies compared to 100s of Bordeaux. This was a nice buy in 1/18, glad to have 2 more.

In my cellar since acquiring it in 2018, and just opened the first bottle, decanted thru a filter. Seemed to get better after being open 1-1.5 hrs, perhaps to a '91. Typical Bordeaux nose, but not very pronounced. Smooth on the palate with a medium length finish.

Six years since I last opened one of these and it still sings beautifully! Nose of pencil shavings, floral notes, dark fruit. Still dark in the glass with just the beginning of bricking along the side of the glass. I think I have one left. I opened 5 wines at a restaurant party with 8 others and this was the last one opened. It was the Wine of the Night.

I have had 2 of these since 2011, from B-21 and this is my first note. WOW, what a buy at $10! Nose of fruit, some baking spices, faint barnyard, amazing dark, bright color with no apparent bricking. Soft tannin on the palate, with mouth coating repeat of my nose impressions, fairly long finish. Sorry to apparently have only one left in the cellar.

I bought a case in 10/13 and consumed 8 without ever reviewing them, so they must have not made an impression. They have been in my cellar for 10 years and I came upon them today and decided to try one. Poured thru a Vinturi, nice deep purple, dark fruits & faint baking spices on the nose. Absolutely velvet on the palate. Glad I appear to have 3 more! $12.75 delivered from wine access.com in 2013.

This is probably the lowest score I have left in the 15 or so years I have been on CT. This was a very strange wine with no character at all and surprisingly at Costco, which I usually trust to have values in wine, especially their private label Kirkland. I used some sauteed/reduced in a pan with fresh sliced mushrooms and some shallots, but disposed of the rest, as I would rather use a tastier inexpensive wine in such an application.
