  Barthod's 2022 releases are strikingly gorgeous, capturing the pure essence and elegance of Chambolle-Musigny with each taste. Despite the warm, hot conditions of 2022, Barthod has masterfully crafted wines that whisper their intensity—subtle, delicate, yet profound. Who else in Burgundy can match this ethereal grace and pristine, absolute pure expression of red fruit? Simply stunning.
  
  TN: The wine dazzles with super red berries, delicate yet vibrant with excellent tension and freshness. It features a luscious mix of pure red berries enhanced by a sprinkle of herbs and fresh, citrusy (!) undertones. Even more captivating than the Charmes, it radiates elegance and weightlessness, presenting the purest expression of fruit imaginable. Drinking this wine is an absolute joy, a masterful blend of delicacy and intensity.

  Tasting the 2022s from Ghislaine Barthod. The entire line-up was convincing statement pro purity, elegance and lightness that is for me the epitome of Burgundian reds. Of the 2022, Les Cras stood out in a league of its own.
  
  Tasting note
  A more masculine wine in the line-up with a riper raspberry fruit, nice top notes of mint which was added an attractive feature. The palate was linear and softly textured, but maybe just a whisker too ripe in terms of fruit. I much preferred the Les Cras in direct comparison. But that said, we also checked in on the 2010 which was still far from ready. Maybe just needs lots of time…
