Kicking after 18 years. Huge aromatics as soon as the crumbly cork left the bottle. Floral, dried cherries, leather, medium bodied, plenty of fruit left, with a healthy dose of acidity on the finish to help pair with food . Held up really well and drinking at or near its peak.

Still tannin left. Earthy and leather with licorice nose with enough mustiness that lets you know the wine is past its peak. Tawny color. Still some fruit left. Quite a bit of sediment. I actually enjoyed this 375 bottle.

Disappointing. Saved it for a special occasion. Had big expectations, and it turned out to be an easily drinkable wine, but without much taste. Smooth. Did not taste like it was too old, just kind of boring. Way too expensive.

Tasted during a WA event „a matter of taste”. 50/50 Sangiovese/Merlot. From Magnum. Medium-dark garnet with brownish rim. Nose of earth, prune. Medium bodied palate, a bit flabby, looking for aromatic lift, but overall a nice package. Too much marketing for the wine it is though.

Decanted for 45 minutes. First off, it had a bite to it, but smoothed out quickly. Georgeous wine in its prime. Drink now
